Law at Oxford

Published 25 Jul 2011, 9:36 am, by Amy Harrington

Studying law at Oxford is a dream of many!  Over the next few weeks there will be a few seminars in the Law School to whet your appetite as well as give you a better understanding of how you make that dream a reality.

On Thurday 28 July Professor Timothy Endicott, Dean of the Faculty of Law at Oxford will give a presentation to students entitled Law at Oxford.  The seminar will be held in room 102 in the Law School from 12.00-1.00pm.

The following Tuesday 2 August there will be a presentation on the Degree Partnerships, of which one is with Oxford.  At this seminar each of the academic coordinators will provide information about the 3 partnership programs - Oxford, New York University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

These are very exciting study pathways and I encourage you to attend.

Seasonal Clerkships

There are still a number of firms that have seasonal clerkship applications open.  The LSS Seasonal Clerkship Guidebook has a list of closing dates in the back.  CV Mail is also a good way to see which firms are still open.

If you need help with your applications don't hesitate to make an appointment to see a careers consultant in the Careers Office.
