The Legal Forecast presents Race to the Future

Published 27 Mar 2018, 12:20 pm, by MLS Career Services

Race To The Future (RTF) is a unique event for tertiary law students. With the guidance of industry mentors, teams will complete a series of challenges around the Melbourne CBD which reflect on changes in the legal industry. This is an opportunity for you to flex your creative and innovative muscles and identify new opportunities in our profession.

This is an unparalleled opportunity to work with and present to industry professionals and students from other universities, in a day that embodies the possibilities of ‘what if?'

RTF will culminate in a final event where students will present on their learnings at a Legal Fair (think, Science Fair, but legal). The whole day event takes place on 4 May from 8.15am – 8pm. Participants must be available for the whole duration of RTF and must be over 18 to participate. Food and drink will be provided for the day. For those with dietary requirements, please email vic@thelegalforecast.com as soon as you have registered.

We will try to accommodate requests to join as a team with friends, however we encourage participants to meet new people! Part of the fun (and the challenge) is to meet new and interesting people. All tertiary law students from any university are welcome to participate.

Terms and Conditions

Please note: while we call this a race, and while you may choose to wear your fastest sneakers, we will not require participants to run during the day. The terms and conditions for participating in the event can be found here.
