MLS Mentor Program - have you contacted your mentor recently?

Hope all participating students are enjoying being mentored. August is the perfect time to plan ahead. Remember to keep in touch with your mentor for the remaining months of the program. Make the most of your meetings, ask questions and be proactive. Students and mentors are expected to meet 3-4 times over the mentoring period.

Students having difficulty contacting their mentor or wishing to discuss any aspect of the program are advised to contact Career Development Services by email law-careers@unimelb.edu.au or by phone (03) 8344 8094. For additional tips and resources for making the most of the program, refer to the 2013 Mentor Program Guidelines.

Public Interest, Government & Practical Legal Training Law Fair 2013!

Legal Traineeships - Applications Now Open!

With priority offer date fast approaching (13 August), CDS are on the lookout for organizations that are open to market offers. Firms that are currently accepting applications include Colin Biggers & Paisley, Maddocks and Mills Oakley. The Office of Public Prosecutions - Victoria has also now announced that they are welcoming applications for their Legal Traineeships Program 2014.
