How do I order an academic transcript?

Prospective employers sometimes require an academic transcript.  Details on how to obtain one from the University are available here.  Once you  have obtained the original transcript, certified copies are usually acceptable.  Further information on who may certify documents is available here.

Important Information for Students about the MLS Career Development Services Summer Internship Program

If you are planning to apply for an internship through CDS, please note the dates below. Internships are generally open to 1st, 2nd and later year JD students, subject to the organisations’ requirements.  Internships are a fantastic way to gain practical legal experience and help you develop your own personal career plan as well as valuable professional skills.  The majority of CDS internships are available for subject credit.

CDS EVENTS:

Information Session: Wednesday 28 August 1pm, MLS Room 108

Internship CV and Cover Letter Writing: Wednesday 4 September 1pm, MLS Room 223

IMPORTANT DATES:

Applications open: Monday 16 September

Applications close: Monday 30 September

Interviews: Between 3 & 17 October

Internship Commencement: After 25 November (or earlier depending on individual students’ exam timetables)

CDS are hosting two interactive workshops over the next month, to help students prepare for their Seasonal Clerkship interviews. This is your chance to find out handy interview hints and tips from the professionals, and the ideal opportunity to ask any burning questions you may have.
