Prospective employers sometimes require an academic transcript.  Details on how to obtain one from the University are available here.  Once you  have obtained the original transcript, certified copies are usually acceptable.  Further information on who may certify documents is available here.

If you are planning to apply for an internship through CDS, please note the dates below. Internships are generally open to 1^st, 2^nd and later year JD students, subject to the organisations’ requirements.  Internships are a fantastic way to gain practical legal experience and help you develop your own personal career plan as well as valuable professional skills.  The majority of CDS internships are available for subject credit.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Applications open: Monday 16 September

Applications close: Monday 30 September

Interviews: Between 3 & 17 October

Internship Commencement: After 25 November (or earlier depending on individual students’ exam timetables)
