Sheraton Hotel, 27 Little Collins Street, Melbourne.

Put on a gorgeous mask, don your finest evening wear and join your fellow LIV Young Lawyers at this flagship charity ball! Not only will you kick back on the dance floor and unwind with your friends, but you’ll also have the chance to participate in a silent auction that raises funds for the “Acting on the Warning Signs health-justice partnership project” initiated by the Royal Women’s Hospital and the Inner Melbourne Community Legal Centre.

The project delivers on-site legal services to patients at the Women’s Hospital. To date it has offered legal advice in 474 instances and has opened 213 ongoing cases. Most of the advice concerns family violence and family law matters. It has also delivered training to more than 350 staff, including 65 doctors, to identify women at risk of family violence and to streamline referrals to specialist services. All funds raised from the silent auction will be donated to this worthy cause. Registrations are now open online with tickets $165.00 for LIV members, and $185.00 for non-members. Book a table of 10 and receive the member rate of $1650.00.
