Careers@Singapore 2012: Legal Services careers event (Singapore)

Careers@Singapore is a series of networking and recruitment events organised annually by Contact Singapore. 

This event is for Singaporean law students from Australia and New Zealand who will be home during their summer holidays.

The event will be held on Sat, 7 Jan, from 12.30pm to 4.30pm. It will comprise a workshop on how to customise resumes when applying to law firms in Singapore, followed by a law careers fair which will see various Singapore and international law firms participating, as well as the Singapore Legal Service. 

The event is free to attend though registration is required.

Melbourne Law School Graduates gain Office of Public Prosecutions Traineeships!

MLS Internship Program: Fairfax Radio Network

The Fairfax Radio Network ("FRN") owns and operates 7 commercial radio broadcasting licences throughout Australia, located in in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth. FRN operates the Talk Radio Network, which includes 2UE, 3AW, 4BC and 6PR.

Fairfax Radio Network is currently seeking expressions of interest from JD/LLB students from Melbourne Law School entering their penultimate or final year in 2012 for an unpaid internship position with the FRN.

This internship is only available to students seeking credit towards the JD/LLB Legal Internship subject.

MLS Internship Program: Responsible Gambling Advocacy Centre

The Responsible Gambling Advocacy Centre (the Centre) is an organisation which was funded by the Victorian Government in early 2010 to build the capacity of the community to make informed choices about responsible gambling. 

The Centre is currently seeking expressions of interest from JD/LLB students from Melbourne Law School entering their penultimate or final year in 2012 for an Internship position with the Centre. The Intern would be required to be available for the equivalent of six weeks full time (30 days) from late January to March.  Exact dates will be negotiated with the successful student.
