This seminar provides tips and advice to students and recent graduates on commencing their career in law and securing a role as a first year lawyer. MENTOR PROGRAM 2013 - CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

Following student feedback, the Careers Services team at Melbourne Law School is considering extending the MLS Mentor Program (currently offered to 1st year JD students) to students in all years. The aim of the proposed program is to extend a new range of networking opportunities to students as they travel through their law degree.

You are cordially invited to join Reprieve Australia for discussions on the eve of the 10th World Day Against the Death Penalty to celebrate the continued work of Reprieve in advocating against the death penalty. In addition, Reprieve will announce the launch of a new development program in South East Asia and the appointment of the Black Strikes Fellow. The talk will be followed by drinks and canapés.

Date: 9th October

Time: 6:30pm for a 7:00pm start.
