Victoria Law Foundation is now taking applications for its Internship Program for 2013-14 (summer and winter placements). The program is open to all Victorian law students (LLB or JD). Applications close at 5pm on Friday 15 March 2013.

Career Drop-In Sessions - Commence February 2013

Just a quick note to let you all know the Career Drop-In sessions have commended again for 2013! During the designated hour each day, law students are welcome to attend Career Development Services (CDS) for a 10-minute career consultation without the need to make an appointment. Standard 30 minute career consultations (appointment only) are also available.

Applications open for 2013 Clinton Global Initiative meeting hosted by Washington University in St. Louis, April 2013

The International Office is seeking applications from students to attend the 2013 Clinton Global Initiative meeting hosted by Washington University in St. Louis, 5-7 April 2013. Washington University in St. Louis will contribute $1000 towards travel costs for one student from each McDonnell International Scholars Academy partner (which includes the University of Melbourne) who is granted admission to the 2013 Clinton Global Initiative – University (CGI-U) meeting. CGI-U is part of the Clinton Global Initiative, established by former United States President Bill Clinton, with the goal of bringing together approximately 1,000 college students from around the world to discuss strategies to address pressing global challenges. Interested students are encouraged to apply through the CGI-U website: www.cgiu.org/

Please note the deadline is 30 January 2013. All application decisions will be made at the discretion of the CGI-U admissions team.
