Complete your Practical Legal Training for free at the College of Law in 2014!

The LIV Young Lawyers Section (YLS) in partnership with the College of Law (COL) is offering an exclusive opportunity to one final year law student to complete their Practical Legal Training (PLT) complimentary at the COL during 2014.

To be in the running to win entrants need to submit a piece of writing (max 1200 words), addressing the question: If you were running for federal parliament, what existing or proposed law reform policy would you campaign for and why?

MLS Mentor Program 2013 - when did you last see your mentor? Plan remaining meetings now!

As semester two is well underway,  a timely reminder to JD students participating. Make the most of the remaining months of the 2013 Mentor Program.

Students and mentors are required to meet or have remote contact at least 3-4 times during the official mentoring period unless special circumstances exist which should have been communicated to Career Development Services or myself.

Plan ahead, ask questions and take advantage of any opportunity provided to you to meet your mentor, watch them in court, shadow your mentor at work or meet their colleagues.
