MLS Internship Program Summer 2014 applications closes tonight!

This is just a friendly reminder that the MLS Internship Program applications closes at midnight tonight. We advise you to submit your application well before this time to minimise any technical difficulties.

Ensure you submit:

- A resume

- A cover letter

- A document addressing mandatory requirements and seleciton criteria

- An academic transcript (statement of results)

This could be your foot in the door to a future career opportunity!

 Come to the signing tables on Level 1,  grab a FREE coffee and chocolate and chat to CDS staff and other students. We look forward to seeing you there!

How many MLS Internships can you do?

Students are able to undertake 2 MLS Internships over the duration of their JD degree.  However they can only do the Legal Internship subject once - the second internship would need to be voluntary or paid.

Experiencing technical problems accessing the MLS Internship Application Forms?

Are you experiencing technical difficulties accessing the MLS internship application form? Do you get a message similar to the following: 

'MLS Internship Program: beyondblue Summer 2014' is now inactive

You can not edit or make new submissions for this form.

In order to resolve this problem you need to ensure your Careers Online details are up to date

1. After you have logged into your Careers Online account, on the right hand navigation menu under 'Manage my profile' click 'My Preferences'

2. Under the 'Faculty' section - ensure 'Law' is highlighted.

3. Click Save and then try accessing the application forms again.

Lock up a lawyer – Saturday 12 October

Presented by Melbourne City Mission, Lock up a lawyer gives you the chance to sleep in the cells at Pentridge Prison's infamous D Division Remand Centre that previously housed some of Melbourne's most notorious criminals. All money raised will go to Youthlaw and Mates for inmates.
