LIV Legal Careers Fair 2015

Published 28 Apr 2015, 4:23 pm, by Madeline Organero

The LIV Careers Fair is the perfect occasion for Victorian law students to see and be seen before commencing their career in law.

With exhibitors representing Australia’s leading law firms, government, regional firms and non-legal employers, attendees will have the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the range of career paths available and possibly present themselves as the best graduate for the job.

While this event will be most beneficial for penultimate and final year law students interested in pursuing seasonal and graduate employment, earlier students are also encouraged to attend.

Final and penultimate year students will also have the opportunity to partake in mock interviews with HR specialists and industry professionals. Places are limited and students will only be eligible to participate if they come prepared with a covering letter and resume.

This free event is aimed at bringing employers and future employees together by showcasing the multitude of avenues available within the law profession, as well as assisting law students in making informed and beneficial decisions for the future.
