Presentation on Independent Diplomat's Work and the Significance of International Law

Independent Diplomat (ID) is a unique non-profit venture in the world of international relations, diplomacy and conflict prevention. ID delivers advice and assistance to governments, political groups and NGOs across the three pillars of contemporary diplomacy: political and diplomatic strategy, international law and public diplomacy.

Dean Bialek is ID's Director for UN, Climate Change and Natural Resources. Dean leads ID’s work on climate change and Western Sahara, and helps to oversee ID's work at the UN. Before joining ID, Dean had over five years' experience in the Australian foreign service, most recently as adviser on economic and environmental affairs and law of the sea at Australia's Mission to the United Nations in New York.

Dr Dialek will talk about Independent Diplomat's work and the significance of international law as an integral aspect of modern diplomatic strategy.

Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance Information Session

CSA is holding a student information session for its Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance.

Our semester 2 information sessions will be held on Wednesday 20 June (12:30pm – 1:45pm) and Tuesday 10 July (5:45pm – 7:00pm) at CSA Seminar Room, Level 7, 500 Collins Street, Melbourne.

Join Course Directors, past and current students and CSA staff for an information session that will provide you with full details on the Graduate Diploma and have all your questions answered, while enjoying some light refreshments. Take the opportunity to hear first hand from a recent graduate about their experience and the benefits of studying with CSA.

The Flemington and Kensington Community Legal Centre has been an invaluable part of the inner west for over 30 years, providing free legal services to the most vulnerable in our community.
