AYAD Forum - 9 March - BMW Edge

AYAD Forum

The AYAD Forum is part of National Youth Week, which celebrates and recognises the value of all young Australians by giving them the opportunity to express their ideas and opinions.

As well as hearing from inspirational speakers in the human rights space, you’ll have the opportunity to mingle with other passionate youth, network with key development and humanitarian organisations, and find out how you can embark on your own path to support human rights, such as volunteering overseas with the AYAD Program.

Date: Tuesday 9th April 2013
Time: 6:00pm for a 6:30pm
Cost: Free
Location: The Edge, Federation Square, Cnr Swanston & Flinders Street, Melbourne

  - Julie McKay, Gender Equality Campaigner and Executive Director of UN Women Australia
  - Jessie Taylor, Human Rights & Refugee Advocate and Melbourne barrister

  - Hosted by Dan Ryan, Youth Leader and 2012 Australian UN Youth Representative

Attention First Year JD Students - Mentor Program Registrations

Welcome again to Melbourne Law School! Great to see so many students interested in participating in the MLS Mentor Program.

Please note you so do not need to register yet.

Given the MLS Mentor Program’s extension to 2nd and later year students this year, the timing of student registrations has been revised to accommodate this. Registrations are currently open for second and later year students only.

On-line registrations for first year students will open  mid semester one and you will be notified of the procedure in due course.

Career Drop-In service

For those of you who may not be aware, Career Development Services (CDS) offer daily drop-in sessions. During the designated hour each day, law students are welcome to attend CDS for a 10-minute career consultation without the need to make an appointment.

Standard 30 minute career consultations (appointment only) are also available.

Monday 11.30am - 12.30pm

Tuesday 11am - 12pm

Wednesday 11.30am - 12.30pm

Thursday 3.30pm - 4.30pm

Friday 11am - 12pm
