The TAC will be hosting an information session on 18 July, for students considering applying for their Legal Clerkship Program (2013/2014) & Graduate Traineeships (2014). The session will allow students to hear from Mark Rawlings, Senior Legal Manager and Coordinator of the TAC Clerkship and Graduate Program, and take a tour of the TAC building.

With the winter exams now officially underway, the Career Development Services team would like to wish all MLS students the best of luck, for what is bound to be a busy few weeks.

We'll be running our consultations and drop-in sessions as usual throughout the exam period and winter recess, so pop in if you do have any careers questions or concerns.

Have you returned your Mentor Agreement Form?

With exam period looming CDS understand that students are busy at the moment, but the the deadline for returning Mentor Agreement Forms has now passed. These forms are crucial as they ensure compliance with the University's insurance requirements.

We are able to accept forms that have been scanned and emailed to us at law-careers@unimelb.edu.au.

If you won't be able to return your form until after the exam period send us an email to let us know and we can put a hold on your record.

Walk in Her Shoes Tour

The Melbourne Magistrates' Court Specialist Family Violence Service together with the Junior Family Lawyers Working Group invite junior family lawyers and students with an interest in this area to participate in the Walk in Her Shoes Tour of the Melbourne Magistrates' Court.

The tours are designed to introduce junior family lawyers to the court processes involved with applying for an intervention order. Tours are scheduled for 16 July, 13 August and 10 September and will be held from 3:30pm to 5pm. Bookings are essential.
