VWL / WBA Mentoring Program 2017

Victorian Women Lawyers and the Women Barristers’ Association (WBA) will launch their tenth annual Law Student Mentoring Program in 2017 .

The Law Student Mentoring Program is a joint initiative run by Victorian Women Lawyers and the Women Barristers’ Association. The program is endorsed by the Honourable Marcia Neave AO and the Honourable Justice Rita Zammit.

Now in its 10th year, the program is a wonderful opportunity for female law students to gain insight into working in the law, develop valuable networks and share ideas with mentors in the legal profession. For mentors, there is the satisfaction that comes from helping to shape the career of a female law student.

VWL invites students and mentors to register their interest in participating in the program.

Students must be VWL members to participate, but Mentors do not. Membership is only $25 for students, and if you sign up in order to register for the program, you will receive a membership until the end of the 2016/2017 membership year AND you will automatically receive membership for the forthcoming 2017/2018 membership year!

Registration is open until Sunday, 26 March 2017.

A launch function will be held in May 2017 in the Melbourne CBD for those who are successfully matched with a student or mentor. Further information about the launch will be released soon.
