The Legal Forecast
Have you heard of The Legal Forecast? The Legal Forecast aims to advance legal practice through technology and innovation. It is a not-for-profit run by early-career professionals who are passionate about disruptive thinking and access to justice. The Legal Forecast (TLF) is designed as a community and rite of passage for law students and early-career legal professionals who are creative, entrepreneurially-minded and believe technology has an important role to play in legal practice and access to justice. They will also have monthly meetings (chats) to discuss topical issues in legal innovation and the future of the legal industry over tapas and drinks.
Their first chat will be on Tuesday 11 July, 6-10pm, in the upstairs lounge area of Young & Jackson, 1 Swanston Street. Each discussion is guided by 3-5 articles which will be posted on The Legal Forecast Facebook event page. This is a free event.
The official TLF Victoria launch is on Wednesday 2 August at the College of Law (459 Little Collins St), with doors opening at 6pm for a 6.30pm start. More details will be provided via TLF social media from the start of July, with a registration page for the event. This is also a free event - click here to register.
