Paralegal, Administrative Law and Human Rights Section

The LIV is seeking a Paralegal to assist the Section Lawyer to manage the Administrative Law and Human Rights Section, and to promote the objectives of the LIV's Legal Policy & Practice (LPP) Department.

The primary objectives of LPP are to:

•drive key legal policy development, law reform, strategic advocacy and projects in partnership with LIV members, LIV departments and other key stakeholders; and

•deliver relevant information and resources to assist legal practitioners in their practices.

The Administrative Law and Human Rights (AL&HR) Section represents a broad range of legal issues ranging from administrative review, constitutional law and general human rights issues to specific matters relevant to Indigenous, refugee, migration, health, disability and discrimination law.
