LIV Young Lawyers - Presentation to 1st Year JD Students

The Law Institute of Victoria Young Lawyers Section will be coming out to MLS to present to first year JD students.
Date: Wednesday 7 March
Time: 1-2pm
Location: Room 108, MLS
They will cover the following:
- How to get involved with LIV Young Lawyers
- Tips and advice on preparing for a legal career from day one and answers to some Frequently Asked Questions.
- An overview of the LIV Seasonal Clerkship and Traineeship Guidelines.
- A summary of the key requirements for admission to practice, including an explanation of the differences between Supervised Legal Training (SLT) and Practical Legal Training (PLT).
- Information about our upcoming Networking and career support and development events and activities.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and chat with LIV staff after their presentation.
