LIV ​Ideas for Careers – Family Law

Wednesday, 27 April 2016, 5.30-7pm, at the Law Institute of Victoria 

The next in the Ideas for Careers series will give students and graduates an insight into everyday working life in the practice area of family law. In each session, you will have the opportunity to list to a panel of three professionals talk about:

  • What a day in that practice area is like
  • What kind of clients they work with
  • What matters are commonly dealt with
  • Career progression and more

After the panel discussion, attendees will then have the chance to speak with each panellist in small group.

  • Belle Lane, Barrister, Victorian Bar
  • Fran Jacka, Senior Policy Officer, Family Violence & Sexual Assault Unit Safeguarding and Community Services, Department of Health and Human Services
