Law Without Walls Online
MLS is very pleased to offer JD students the opportunity to participate in the online international event Law Without Walls Online (LWOW X). LWOW X is described as ‘A global, all-virtual multidisciplinary collaboratory solving tomorrow’s social justice problems in legal education and practice related to issues around youth advocacy, juvenile justice, human rights, and / or access to education and justice for vulnerable client populations.’
This is a demanding but exciting program that will run online from January through to April.
If you would like to be considered for LWOW X, please submit an application which includes the following:
- 1.Create a personal pitch. The personal pitch is a one-to-two-minute video (created via phone, tablet, computer, camera or animated tools like Powtoon) telling us why you’re an ideal candidate for LWOW X – in short, what can you do for LWOW X and what can the program do you for? Each personal pitch should include examples of problem solving, leadership and creativity.
- Note: the personal pitch may be a mix of video clips, still photos and animated media, however, it must be one cohesive video file. Click here for a YouTube playlist of past personal pitches.
- 2.A copy of your CV
- 3.A 300 word statement on what you would bring to the program and why you would benefit from participating.
Complete applications should be submitted to law-careers@unimelb.edu.au by Sunday 4 November.
