Indonesian Career Expo - 16 & 17 May 2014
Numbers of Indonesian students studying overseas are increasing significantly and steadily. With no surprise, Melbourne is one of the most popular destinations for those students to pursue a better education given the world-class universities that they have, especially The University of Melbourne. For Indonesian students studying overseas, their ultimate goal will be to secure a job after they graduate. However, there is a growing concern with our job talents as more students decided to find jobs overseas and refuse to go back to Indonesia. This is also known as brain drain. Therefore, Melbourne University Indonesian Students Association (MUISA) as the official association representing Indonesian students in the University of Melbourne will run our very first Indonesian Career Expo, which is also the first Indonesian career expo in Melbourne also known as ICarE. This event is intended to bridge the gap between Indonesian companies and Indonesian students studying in Melbourne.
We expect that students will have the opportunity to:
- Gain more insights about the company profiles
- Discuss diverse career opportunities available
- Expand their professional network
- Hear top companies presenting seminars on career pathways and opportunities.
- Submit their resumes and express their interest working for the exhibiting companies
