Centre for Employment and Labour Relations Law - employment law lecture
The Centre for Employment and Labour Relations Law is pleased to invite you to a special Employment Law Lecture to be held at the Melbourne Law School on Tuesday 12 April 2011.
Our guest speaker for this lecture is Professor Mark Freedland FBA of the Faculty of Law at Oxford University. Professor Freedland will speak on the topic “The Legal Construction of Personal Work Relations: A New Model for the Foundation of Employment Relationships”.
Professor Freedland is one of the world’s leading scholars in the law of employment contracts. He is visiting Melbourne Law School to teach the Employment Contracts subject in the Melbourne Law Masters program. We are very privileged to have him visit the Centre, and to have the opportunity to offer this lecture.
Professor Joellen Riley of the Sydney Law School will respond to Professor Freedland’s comments from an Australian perspective.
