Admission to Practice Disclosure Guidelines

In applying for admission to legal practice, applicants are required to swear a disclosure affidavit. That affidavit refers to the Disclosure Guidelines for Applicants for Admission to the Legal Profession.  These guidelines have been updated and extended recently by the Law Admissions Consultative Committee (a body on which all Australian admitting authorities are represented) and have been adopted by the Council of Legal Education’s Board of Examiners. The guidelines are available from the Resources section.  All students considering application for admission to practice are advised to read them carefully.
