Volunteers with psychology background required for research role!
We currently require a volunteer with a psychology background to assist with a Type I Diabetes randomised control trial that investigated the impact of pump therapy on behaviour and cognition in children.
The volunteer role involves following up participants in the study, scoring behavioural questionnaires, maintaining databases, as well as some data entry and other tasks. We would prefer to hear from those with a psychology background due to the nature of the study and skills required.
The position would provide a unique opportunity to learn about clinical research and ideal for students interested in pursuing postgraduate training.
The commitment would be one day per week (during working hours), located at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute in Parkville.
