Become a research intern in the leading institutions of Australian policy-making and politics.

Applications are now open for the Australian National Internships Program (ANIP). Students from any academic discipline, from across Australian and overseas are eligible to apply.

ANIP internships are available in:

* The Commonwealth Parliament

* The ACT Legislative Assembly

* Embassies and High Commissions

* Government Departments and Agencies

* NGOs

* Peak Industry Bodies

* Think Tanks and Research Centres

Placements are for one, two or four days per week during semester during which interns complete a research report for course credit.

To apply:

You must be a currently enrolled tertiary student and have successfully completed (or will have completed by the time of enrollment into ANIP) two full years of study (96 units or equivalent). You may be an undergraduate or a graduate student from any discipline.
