Volunteer Research Assistant

PEERS (Pediatric Evaluation of Emotions, Relationships and Socialization) is an exciting new study based at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute at the Royal Children’s Hospital. The aim of this study is to standardize a novel commercial product (PEERS) that can assess social skills in children and young people.

The volunteer role involves visiting schools and administering cognitive tests, as well as data entry and other tasks. We would particularly like to hear from those with a psychology background and who have had experience working with children and /or adolescents. Participating as a volunteer is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable research experience and ideal for students interested in pursuing postgraduate training.

The commitment would be one day per week (during working hours) for a minimum of 6 months.
