| | Pathways to Employment Grant Round Now Open | | The Inner North Community Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2016 Pathways to Employment Grant Round, proudly supported by Portland House Foundation, is now open. The Foundation has a strong focus on employment pathways for local people disadvantaged in their access to employment. This links us back to our key sponsor, IntoWork, and a strong theory of change that identifies the multiple benefits to community members created from workforce participation. In 2016, the Foundation will fund: - Single-year grants to support a broad range of activities, including pre-vocational training and support, job readiness, work and life skills, self-esteem development, and linking people to industry networks.
- Spark grants to support the development of ideas, build capacity or explore new initiatives. This could be a small pilot program, contribution to research, or funding for staff capacity to develop or deliver a project. Applications should demonstrate a clear link to how funding will increase local people’s pathways to employment.
Applicants must be not-for-profit organsiations with relevant endorsements, and be located in the municipalities of Darebin, Moreland or Yarra, or target participants who live in those areas. Full details including application forms are available at innernorthfoundation.org.au/grants/ For further information or to discuss your group's proposal, please contact Sandie or Ben at the Foundation on 8689 1922. The closing date for applications is Friday 27 May 2016. | | | The Inner North Community Foundation helps local people make our community prosperous, connected and cohesive, by guiding volunteer efforts and financial support to where it will have the greatest impact.
