The Aerospace Industry Night is a professional and free event which attracts a substantial number of interested university students (primarily those studying aerospace, mechanical and manufacturing engineering) keen to pursue a career in the aerospace, aviation, space, automotive, defence or related industries. The forum is intended to cover a range of areas including but not limited to aerospace design, manufacturing, maintenance, operations, defence, research and development, and general aviation support services. It presents an ideal opportunity for networking between industry leaders, undergraduates and graduates.

Representatives from various industries including Aerospace, Aviation, Space, Manufacturing, Education and Scientific Research Partners will participate in the event. These include key industry organisations such as Defence Force Recruiting, Aerosonde, XCOR Aerospace, Thales, Boeing Aerostructures Australia, Jetstar Airways, Shoal, Defence Science and Technology Organisation, Saber Astronautics, Engineers Australia, and more.


The format for the evening will comprise speeches by keynote industry speakers, followed by an informal exhibition session in the auditorium, where attendees can have one-on-one discussions with industry representatives. In conjunction with the exhibition session, presentations by company and organisation representatives will be conducted in seminar rooms in the upper levels of the venue. Attendees will also have the chance to talk to career services specialists about resumé writing and interview skills. The night will conclude with an open panel discussion involving key industry panel speakers.


This event is completely FREE - however registration through Eventbrite is mandatory. All attendees have to bring a copy of their registration ticket. This can either be the hard copy or the e-ticket on your phone.
