In this research we will use an online course platform to investigate how different cognitive states interact in an online learning environment. The research is funded through a Special Research Initiative of the Australian Research Council.

If you choose to participate in this research you will access an online educational module in one of the University of Melbourne’s computer labs (Level 3 MGSE, Queensberry St.).

You will be asked to complete activities related to various topics such as mathematics, psychology or physics. You may participate in this study if you have participated in similar studies previously.

The session will also involve questionnaires asking for demographic data, your motivation towards learning and your experience learning with the online material. The log files of your usage of the online learning system will be recorded.
