PwC Preview is a three day development program designed to help bridge the gap between university and the workforce. In Melbourne, the program will be running from Tuesday, 20 September - Thursday, 22 September 2011.
The program is open to well rounded individuals regardless of degree background, university year, or career aspirations. Participants will receive three days of business and employability skills workshops, exposure to networking with business leaders and will gain valuable insight into life at a professional services firm. In addition to gaining this first-hand exposure to what a graduate or vacation position at PwC would be like, participants will also have the unique opportunity to work with one of our PwC Foundation Charities and see corporate responsibility in action.
We will provide you with a host of employability and life skills:
Employability skills
*How to get the career you want using career management techniques
*How to prepare and perform well at interviews and assessment centres
*Communicating with impact
*Develop networks using a planned approach
Life skills
*Learn about our different business areas
*Opportunities to shadow staff on real client work
*Opportunities to work in the community with one of our Foundation Partners
After completing the Preview program, we encourage participants to apply for one of our other student programs. Many Preview participants return to PwC as vacationers, graduates or both!
The Preview program is an opportunity to fast-track your application through the relevant recruitment process. How about getting a head start in your career by gaining some invaluable business and life skills whilst giving back to the community.
Applications close at midnight on Monday, 22 August 2011.
