Do you speak another language? Have you thought about becoming a teacher and using your language skills to gain a professional advantage?

The Department of Education and Early Childhood Development is offering a final round of Languages Teaching Scholarships for university graduates and final year university undergraduate students who have majored in another language or have high level proficiency in a language other than English.

If you’re awarded a Languages Teaching Scholarship, it will help pay for you to become a qualified languages teacher. You might also be eligible for additional grants and opportunities once you’re employed as a languages teacher in a Victorian school. Scholarships are available for study in 2015.

Applications open on 4 August and close 17 October 2014.
