Stepping into…TM is a paid internship program specifically designed for students with disability, who want a paid, hands-on work experience that is relevant to their degree and chosen field of study. We have been successfully assisting students to obtain paid internships since 2005.

Australian Network on Disability (AND) are partnering with IBM to offer students with disabilities a paid internship opportunity for 6 – 12 months full-time in Sydney and Melbourne.Internships are due to start in early July 2014.

IBM provides IT services and consultancy to organisations around the world. IBM use their expertise to advise and guide organisations in a range of areas, from expansion into global markets, to managing IT outsourcing programmes, and developing and running the software that powers national economies.

An internship with IBM will give you the skills and practical, on-the-job experience you need to take your career to the next level. Not only will you be gaining real world experience on work that is genuinely changing the way the planet lives, works and plays, you’ll also be building an invaluable business network to leverage later. This is an opportunity to start building the future you want before you’ve even finished your degree. IBM understands that time is of the essence when working towards qualifications, and so the program has been tailored to ensure maximum exposure and impact during your time at IBM.
