Our Future Cities is thrilled to launch our 2022 Interdisciplinary Competition in partnership with Melbourne Water, Greater Western Water and Victoria University.

Completely free to enter, participants will receive free seminars from world-leading experts, free mentoring from industry professionals and have the chance to win up to $5,000 in prize money.

Registrations are now open for individuals and participant teams (of up to 3-5) for an urban design competition. Participants will step outside the classroom, work alongside inspiring leaders, thinkers and creators, develop new skills through our four-part seminar series and in-person workshops at key sites in the Werribee precinct.

Participants will delve into the most pressing urban sustainability challenges to deliver real world impact through Planet, People, Prosperity and Purpose led collaboration, exploration and ideation. Attached is our program brief and mentor brief.

Who is eligible? Current University students and Graduates up to 12 months post-graduation (flexible) PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION LINK

We are also on the look-out for Mentors. If you have more than five-year professional working experience and if you would like to volunteer some of your time to help guide the sustainability leaders of tomorrow, please register your interest HERE

Our vision is to accelerate the transition to a sustainable future by creating deep and diverse connections with people and places. There is no entry fee for entering the Our Future Cities design competition.
