Join the EY Better Working World Data Challenge to help build a sustainable future while learning more about data science.

Life in its various forms – plants, trees, fungi, bugs, birds, animals and frogs – form biodiversity. This variety of life is fundamental to the function of ecosystems, the health of forests, and even our prosperity.

Biodiversity is under threat. It is estimated that every 20 minutes, an animal or plant species becomes extinct.

Help us build models to locate biodiversity. Specifically, help us look for frogs. Frogs are an excellent indicator of the health of an ecosystem.

The winning outputs will help scientists to predict and protect biodiversity in a specific area.

The challenge has multiple levels of complexity with curated learning from EY, DataCamp and Microsoft to help you prepare.

Help save the plants, animals and microorganisms that are critical to a healthy society and a thriving economy.

What will you get?

  • Access to an outstanding set of satellite data provided by NASA and the scientific community
  • Access to Microsoft’s cutting-edge technology stack, Azure, and free Microsoft IT certifications
  • The opportunity to collaborate with students around the world and present your work to leading global organizations, such as EY, NASA and Microsoft
  • The chance to win up to US$10,000 in cash prizes
  • The global finalists will be offered mentoring from EY

Join the Challenge today. Registration is open!
