An exciting opportunity to participate in the development of voice-recognition technology!   All you need to do is make a simple call from any phone in Australia. Callers will be given a script to read through and record their answers on our telephone system. The call can be made from a range of environments including in a home/office, on the street, in a car or other vehicle, and you will be asked questions or given a topic to talk about. The call is not a conversation, it is similar to leaving a recorded voicemail message, and can be made from a landline or mobile phone, free of charge for both. The recordings will be used for developing and improving voice recognition

Essential skills:
- Must be a native speaker of Pashto
- Must be able to read Pashto (instructions provided will be in Pashto)

Start Date:
As soon as possible

Payment:
$25 for one successful recording session made from anywhere in Australia (if you attempt a call, but it is unsuccessful, we will pay you half this amount)

If you refer a friend (who makes a successful call), you will receive an extra $5.00 for each person you refer.

Duration:
You can participate ONCE only.
