International Women's Day featuring Monica Lewinsky puts the spotlight on the importance of gender equality and inclusive workplaces
Please join us for our International Women’s Day event on 9 March at 10.45am AEDT.
With the pandemic hitting women the hardest, both through reduced employment and increased home responsibilities, the need for equitable experiences at work to help address the talent gap is critical.
At Accenture’s upcoming International Women’s Day event, we’re putting a spotlight on how far we’ve come in accelerating gender equality and what more there is to do.
More than most, our guest speaker, Monica Lewinsky has experienced first-hand the changes in attitudes towards women in the workplace. The expectations and consequences for women who speak up and challenge power are different today than the 1990s. There’s a growing tide of women speaking up, speaking out, supporting each other and shaping our conversations around gender equality – both in the workplace and in broader society.
Accenture knows that creating an inclusive organisation for women – for ourselves, for our clients, and for our broader society – needs to come from the top. As well as a talk by Monica, our event also will include Accenture ANZ CEO, Pete Burns, and Gender Network Lead, Matt Coates sharing their thoughts on the importance of gender equality and inclusive workplaces.
This year’s event will be hosted by television presenter and journalist, Georgie Gardner in our Virtual Show Floor - a 360-degree interactive space, providing an unparalleled virtual event experience where you can network with other attendees.
We’re also hosting a virtual film screening on March 3 as part of our Mardi Gras Film Festival sponsorship.
You can RSVP for both events here.
Please share this invitation. We’d love for you and your students to join us.
