Interested in a two-week international internship this summer? Global university network Universitas 21 (U21) is offering just that, through their online Sustainable Micro-Internships program. If you’re passionate about sustainability, ready to challenge your abilities and prepared to immerse yourself in global collaboration, apply now for this unique opportunity.
-----------
What is the U21 Sustainable Micro-Internships program?
This two-week online internship program is a chance to connect with commercial organisations, and students from 18 different countries around the world.
Working as part of a diverse, global team, you will solve an ongoing sustainability challenge provided your host employer. The goal is innovation and compelling communication, as you will present your solution to senior organisational stakeholders.
This challenge is real and it is big - so you’ll be given maximum flexibility. 2x two and half hour sessions are scheduled for the start and the end of the program. The rest is online, and in your own time.
What are the benefits?
U21 Sustainable Micro-Internships are international and inter-disciplinary. You’ll be working with students from a range of disciplines, and in up to 19 different time-zones. As you can imagine, you’ll gain some fairly enviable professional skills!
For starters, your ability to adapt to new environments, grasp topics outside of your study area and bring together global knowledge will be tested - and developed. Plus, you’ll hone an ability to build rapid trust, solve large-scale problems, and present complex information with clarity.
It’s an incredible skillset for anyone looking to make an impact with their work.

Applications are open to students of all disciplines, but places are limited. To maximise your chance of selection, apply now - and at the latest, before 5pm November 25 (GMT) / 4am November 26 (AEST). [NH1]
