What is Stepping Into?
AND’s Stepping Into program can help you gain paid, hands-on work experience with leading Australian businesses. Grow your self-confidence and build your network of contacts before you graduate. Stepping Into makes it easier for you to transition from study to employment.

Internships are available in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide, Darwin, Hobart, Newcastle, Bendigo, Gosford, Maitland, Toowoomba, Newman (WA), Moranbah (QLD), Tatura (VIC), Lithgow (NSW) and Port Kembla (NSW).
Am I Eligible?
You must be in your final or second-last year of a bachelor or postgraduate degree.
You must also have disability. If you are registered with your university disability support services, you are automatically eligible for Stepping Into. You are also eligible if you identify as having any type of physical disability, sensory impairment, learning disability, chronic illness, mental health condition or neurological condition (this includes Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Diabetes and more). Get in touch if you would like to discuss your eligibility.
FYI – You do not have to share any disability specific information in this program. All we need is your uni access plan or a letter from a health professional and you are in!
