Here’s a chance to be inspired, feel motivated and learn all you need to know about a career in the technology industry. If you love a data deep dive, are passionate about tech or see yourself leading change in a non-technical capacity, take this opportunity to gain the insights you need.
CISCO are opening their (virtual) doors to undergraduate and post graduate students who identify as female, in any year other than the first or last of their degree. Students will be matched with successful mentors, carefully chosen to help you launch your career in the tech field.
How does this select entry program work?
This year, the CISCO MentorMe program is running virtually, every Thursday from August to October.
If selected, you’ll attend weekly 2-hour group sessions with other students, and connect one-on-one with your mentor for personalised career guidance.
With this program, you’ll be in driver’s seat; voting on the topics you want covered across the 9 weeks. While you’re peaking behind the curtain, experiencing a taste of life in the industry, you might also be building your LinkedIn profile. You might craft your resume, sit a mock interview, or find and learn to articulate your signature strengths. Whatever the mix, you can expect this program to build solid employability skills for life.
Applications close 31 July
