The Citi 'Women in Banking Scholarship' Applications are now open.

Citi's Investment Banking group and Global Markets Division are inviting talented female students in their penultimate year to apply for the 'Women in Banking Scholarship' valued at $5,000. Funds are to contribute towards course and educational related fees.

The program has been launched to promote and support academic excellence in female students who are interested in pursuing a career in the Investment Banking industry.

What is the Scholarship?

  • The Scholarship is valued at $5,000 and will be payable in two instalments.
  • Selection for the Scholarship is primarily on the basis of academic merit. Demonstrated interpersonal skills, leadership potential and a genuine interest in the investment banking industry are all taken strongly into consideration.
  • All short-listed applicants will be required to attend an interview.
  • The Scholarship may not be awarded to an applicant who is currently in receipt of another industry sponsored Scholarship.
  • The Scholarship is open to female students who are in their penultimate year of undergraduate study. Combined degree students are also eligible, but must be in the penultimate year of the degree (the Commerce component may already be completed).
  • The tenure of the Scholarship is for one year, and is conditional upon satisfactory academic performance in the final year of the course.
