Disability support workers wanted for RMIT research
Are you a self-employed disability support worker, or are you employed directly by the person you support?
Do you also work in the north of Melbourne (in suburbs like Fitzroy and Richmond, and as far out as Burnley, Keon Park, Bundoora, and Macleod, and all the suburbs in between?)
If so, please contact us to find out more about taking part in our research.
We are researchers from RMIT University conducting research into disability support workers’ experiences of their jobs.
We are looking for people to take part in a face-to-face interview with one of us. We will ask about your work, your work arrangements and what you like and dislike about your job.
Interviews will be conducted locally to where you work, in a space such as a local library or community centre. Interviews will take around 50 minutes and are completely confidential.
There is no payment but, in recognition of your time and costs, you will receive a shopping voucher to the value of $50.
If you’re interested in being interviewed or would like more information please phone or text Eleanor Bentham or Fiona Macdonald on 0484 570 612 or 9925 1492.You can also email Fiona at fiona.macdonald@rmit.edu.au.
