About Dr Jessie Wong

Jessie is Partner with KPMG-China, working in the areas of Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs, Quality Control and Risk Management and Department of Professional Practice – Audit. Prior to joining KPMG-China, Jessie was Senior Technical Manager with the International Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) and earlier with the International Ethics Standards Boards for Accountants (IESBA) at the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). Jessie’s focus was in the areas of international auditing and assurance standards and the code of ethics for professional accountants.

Jessie currently holds the following professional roles outside of KPMG-China:

  • Member, Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CICPA) International Auditing Standards Advisory Group
  • Chair, External Reporting Centre of Excellence, CPA Australia
  • Council Member, Business & Economics Faculty Alumni Council, University of Melbourne
  • President, University of Melbourne Alumni Association (Beijing)

Jessie graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) degree and completed her PhD at Monash University.
