Researchers at the Decision Neuroscience Laboratory at The University of Melbourne are looking for volunteers for an experiment investigating how people make decisions about simple visual stimuli. Participants need to be between 18 and 40, right-handed, fluent in spoken and written English and have normal or corrected to normal vision.
The experiment is an electroencephalography (EEG) study. It involves completing a computer task while researchers take measurements of your brain activity using sensors embedded in a fabric cap. This technique is non-invasive and poses no risk to you.
The experiment takes place in the Redmond Barry Building at The University of Melbourne, Parkville. You will be reimbursed $25 for your time. The experiment is conducted in a single session and will take around 3 hours to complete.
