The Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Academic Research program supports quality research into Accounting and related fields. In 2012, small research grants up to $10,000 are available.
The core research area needs to focus on academic research engaging with professional practice and addressing key public policy issues that are associated with the Institute's thought leadership initiatives. These include areas such as audit, corporate governance, fiscal services and tax, public sector, accounting education, sustainability reporting, carbon accounting and financial reporting.
Research grants are available for both Institute members and non-members. We also accept applications by overseas researchers; however the research topic must have an Australian academic partner involved and be linked to the Institutes’ thought leadership initiatives.
If successful, the research grant will be awarded to the principal applicant and their institution.
Applications close on Sunday, 1 April 2012.
To apply, visit the Institute's website.
