Video vs Lecture for Learning about Neurons & Action Potentials!
Seeking research participants for a study on effective use of videos for learning
Hi, we’re a research team at the Centre for Studies in Higher Education, and we’re looking for participants for a study on how videos can be best be utilised in learning.
You can participate if you:
- Are aged 18 or over
- speak English as a first language
- have NOT studied psychology or neuroscience at a tertiary level
*The study consists of 2 parts:*
- Session 1: a 15 minute lecture and a short survey which will take place in the Lowe Theatre in theRedmond Barry Building at the University of Melbourne. There will be two times you can chose from -
- 9:30am, Monday 13/11/2017
- 12:30pm, Monday 13/11/2017
- Session 2: we will email you a link to a follow-up survey ONE WEEK after Session 1, which should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
Total time taken will be ~1 hour and you will be reimbursed with a Coles-Myer gift card worth *$20*
