What do you REALLY think about lectures?
We are looking for undergraduate students in science and arts to participate in research about how lectures are used at the university.
What's involved?
You will be asked to participate in a focus group with 6-8 other students and talk about your thoughts and experiences about lectures at university. The focus group will take around one hour.
If you choose to participate, you will need to share your thoughts and ideas about lectures, lecture attendance, what you like and don't like, and how you make use of lectures and other learning activities. Focus groups will be held during the semester break and in Week 10.
Why should I get involved?
This research will help us to understand why students attend or don't attend lectures, and what other forms of instruction they prefer.
PLUS, you will be given a $20 gift voucher to thank you for participating in the focus group.
How do I get involved?
If you would like to take part in the study (or have any further questions about it) please contact Paul Wiseman, at paul.wiseman@unimelb.edu.au
