We would like to offer you the opportunity to take part in our paid study on individual differences in decision making under uncertainty. We are looking for volunteers between the ages of 18 and 35.

This experiment will investigate a fundamental aspect of our everyday life: how we manage the decision to seek out information during decision making under uncertainty. To investigate this question, participants will complete a task in which they will make a series of decisions based on probabilistic information.

The study entails one testing session which will take place at the Redmond Barry Building, The University of Melbourne, Parkville, and will take about 90 minutes to complete. Participants will be paid between $10 - 25, depending on performance on the behavioural task.

This study is conducted by researchers in the Schools of Psychological Sciences at the University of Melbourne, and approved by the Human Research Ethics Committee of The University of Melbourne (project no. 1648616.1).
